Oasis: масштаб зависит от имени В преддверии выхода своего нового альбома «Don't Believe The Truth» британская группа Oasis проведет серию концертов на небольших площадках. Небольшими в данном случае считаются площадки вместимостью от 500 до тысячи, которые привыкшим к стадионам Oasis кажутся уютными клубами. Одна из таких площадок - парижская Olympia, где музыканты выступят 23 мая. «Клубный» тур будет своего рода «разогревом» для группы перед масштабными гастролями. Основное турне в поддержку «Don't Believe The Truth» стартует в Северной Америке 17 июня (в этот день состоится концерт в Торонто). После Америки Oasis проедут по городам Великобритании и Ирландии. Напомним, релиз диска «Don't Believe The Truth» состоится 30 мая. Предварять его будет выход сингла «Lyla», который увидит свет 16 числа. |

Noel прошелся по U2 и Rolling Stones. Он был очень зол, узнав, что эти группы задрали цены на свои концерты. Билет стоит 190$ (около 100 фунтов), при том, что они не нуждаются в гребаных деньгах. Сама группа не будет делать билеты столь дорогими, чтобы простые фаны смогли увидеть их концерты. Я вот думаю, что Боно специально такие цены установил, чтобы потом их на благотворительность отдать. Шутка. Благодетель хренов. |

Noel Gallagher is reportedly angry with Sony after the label apparently chose to release Oasis’ new single ‘Lyla’ against the band’s wishes. In an interview with Time Out magazine, Noel said the band would have picked a different first single from their forthcoming ‘Don’t Believe The Truth’. He said: “If it was up to the band, that (‘Lyla’) wouldn’t be the single. Oasis are moving away from the lad rock that they have become famous for, as their new single Don't Believe The Truth gets a radical makeover - but only in the US. Noel, who told me that this could be the very last album from the group as he's working on his first solo album, also says that he is about to allow mixes of the track to include disco in an attempt to capture the US market - which has so far eluded them. He told me: "We have sold out dates in LA and New York. The idea was muted to me and, while I have never been a fan of mixes in the past, these appeal as they won't be the cack-handed disco dolly stuff we do here in the UK. And of course, they will become a collectors' item. |

Гомер, пока на счет американцев я согласен - посмотреть клип - так это чисто эмтивишная шняга, которая хороша только тем, что там есть некто Лиэм. Ну и Ноэл, хотя в меньшей степени. !!!!!ПРОСТО представьте клип лайла без Лиэма - это будет поп-какашка номер одын. |

Тур-лист группы просто пухнет на глазах, они чуть ли ни каждый день добавляют по нескольку концертов в Европе. Со слезами на глазах на все это смотрю, ну почему же не Россия?

Конечно! Узнаю братьев. А то все как-то тихо и гладко было. Мы отлично поработали, все музыканты молодцы, Liam все круче и круче, лучший альбом и все в этом духе! Согласитесь, не похоже на OASIS. А вот скандал в самую тему. И я думаю, что ближе к выходу альбома, мы узнае еще очень много нового! |

3 гребаных года , чувак... я помню, помню, как я зашел на oa515 а там, прикинь,бабах - сразу из моих динамиков HINDU!!!!Я чуть не офигел,а через пару дней клип по MTW!!!Было офигенное чувство, как сейчас помню... А потом пошел купил пиратский диск - и что ж я там услышал?? qeek peep, better man force of nature propably in my mind... там уже не до радости было. да...время летит..

Don’t Believe The Truth (Big Brother Recordings) Britpop bores are all mouth and no trousers THIS sixth album had a nightmare gestation, beginning as a collaboration with dance producers Death in Vegas, being binned three times, taking in a terrible headlining Glastonbury slot and coming out 18 months behind schedule. As ever, there were rumours of a rift between the grouchy Gallaghers, but both contribute tracks to the album, as do Gem and Andy Bell. The result doesn’t look promising. The band’s increasingly desperate leader has compared the new songs to everyone from Elvis, The Who and Bob Dylan to Soundtrack of Our Lives on Skol. What, no Beatles? Despite Noel’s bluster, the first single, Lyla, has already been given a rough ride by fans. It gets an average rating of 2.5 out of 10 on XFM’s Oasis message board, where one fan suggests the chorus sounds a lot like Mona by Craig MacLachlan. Note to Noel: throwing in a swirling siren sound isn’t enough to make a song exciting. Still, there are signs that a back-to-basics approach to writing lyrics might find favour with old fans. Part of the Queue, featuring the Cuban percussionist Lenny Castro, is apparently about waiting to buy a pint of milk, while the Liam-penned Love Like a Bomb, inspired by Julie Christie and described as a wistful follow-on from Songbird, should be worth a listen. Andy Bell’s title track borrows its intro from Midnight Cowboy, although his other contribution, Keep the Dream Alive, inspired by David Essex in Stardust sounds like one to give short shrift. They say “Our best record since Definitely Maybe. We stuck it out; we stuck to our guns and we pulled it off.” We say Don’t believe the hype. Verdict Don’t buy. Save your money for the DVD of this summer’s eagerly awaited live shows. Released Single on May 16; album on May 30. A Polish DJ has leaked Lyla to the net. Same old dull formula *yawn At a push, i will give it ONE out of ten  I must say I found it really disappointing. Ditto the above comment - same old, same old ZZzzzzzzzz Apparently, this single is one of the most 'old oasis' style one on the new album. What I can't understand then is why they have chosen this as the first single. If this is seen as one of the better songs then what are we to expect? Seriously, if this single was released by some unknown band, would it sell? I don't think so. Perhaps Oasis think they are so great that they don't even need to try - I get the impression that they made this song up on the spot in some sort of jamming session with zero effort at attempting to produce anything different or inspiring.You could be mistaken for thinking I don't like Oasis. I have tickets to see them this summer and am looking forward to seeing them but I it is only in a nostalgic type way because I never saw them when they were 'great'. I fear I may have left it too late though! 3/10 its dreary but i do like it...i like oasis's style but Lyla just sounds like all their other songs so even though I like it it's not new and therefore dull and not worth releasing! I'd give it about a 4. Higher than some on here but there are some god awful songs in this world which deserve lower. One more thing, is it just me or does the chorus sound just a touch like the song Mona by Craig McLachlen (Henry from neighbours). I realise I shouldn't know this song least of all remember it but there it is.....anyone with me? "Oasis are the only true Rock n Roll stars that this country has left" I said Oasis fans either have very limited musical tastes OR are twelve. The last two albums have both been poor and this new one doesnt look like being much better. 1/10 for Lyla. Definietly Maybe and Whats the Story.... will never again be repeated because Noels got nothing to say anymore. Kaiser Chiefs, The Subways, Bloc Party, The Others are all quality new bands and theres loads more out there If pub rocks ya thing check out Kasabian! ПИЗДЕЦ!!! и так весь форум. |
