А вот мы теперь и посмотрим!  Сейчас вычитал, что Колдплей вроде как переносят выпуск второго сингла, а при таком раскладе уже возможны варианты.

Блин, да его надо всем бояться! Я вот уже месяц как боюсь, и все равно не могу победить свой страх!   А вот и информация: COLDPLAY are delaying the release of their next single, because they want to avoid a head-to-head race with rockers OASIS for the UK number one spot. The two groups have build bridges in recent months and Coldplay frontman CHRIS MARTIN is keen not to jeopardise his friendship with Oasis guitarist NOEL GALLAGHER. An record industry insider tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "Coldplay have moved FIX YOU back to a September release because their current single SPEED OF SOUND is still getting such great airplay on the radio. "I'm sure they are aware that Oasis were due to release on the same day, but that probably didn't affect their decision." |

Бля если Keep the dream alive или Let there be love не выйдет синглом - это будет полный пиздец.  Мне нравится TIOBI но бля не до такой степени чтоб так тупники врубать и делать из него сингл.  Неудачное и не профессиональное решение. Бля куда они смотрят и чем думают - хуй просышь.

OASIS The Importance Of Being Idle (2005 UK 1-track Radio Edit promotional CD single. Penned and sung by Noel Gallagher, this is the second single taken from the No. 1 album Dont Believe The Truth. Custom double card picture sleeve RKIDSCD31P).  Since the early-1990’s the most popular promotional format in the UK has been the CD single. There have been numerous variations over the years, and they continue to be a simple but effective way for record companies to promote their latest artist releases. Pressed for use in advance of the commercial release, they are usually distributed to radio stations, DJ’s and producers in order to gain airplay and generate public interest in a new single. They are extensively used throughout the rest of the media too; sent to editors and journalists in the hope of a favourable review in print or ‘on air’, and in general they are distributed to many influential ‘media-types’ who might help spread the word with a recommendation or two! They are predominantly of interest to collectors when presented with different content, or a unique sleeve, to their commercial counterpart. However, the ‘less is more’ principle can also apply. Some of the most highly coveted UK promo CDs are plain 1-track ‘radio edit’ versions, with just a title sleeve, or even no sleeve at all. At the other extreme a promo CD may contain numerous remixes and could come in any form of elaborate packaging, often with unique artwork. In between those extremes there are many UK promo CDs that are simply advance versions of the commercial release. They may also have special catalogue numbers, sometimes incorporating DJ, ADV, SAMP or PRO prefixes or suffixes. Whatever their form, UK promotional CDs are highly collectable. Even with the explosion of MP3 technology the widespread use of promotional CDs shows no sign of abating. This is particularly prevalent in the 2000’s with many new bands only releasing tracks on 7” vinyl single, but recognising that radio will generally only play CDs. |
