С первых альбомов они снимали по 1 так что нормально

Точно. а раньше наверное денег не было на клипы.

I know you are putting the finishing touches to "Angels", can you tell the fans what to expect.

Well, I think it is going to be the record the fans would like us to make...Actually, I just realised it, that's actually really interesting. It will be the record the fans want from us. Of course we are going to be better than ever, and there will be new elements and everything. Its pretty much going to be like Jonny Lee Michaels told, it is going to be kind of like a "Blessed Be" type record, but mainly I think it will be what the fans expect from us. I'm very happy about it. Of course it is using the new ideas...Its cool.

And is their a release date yet?

No, I think it will be out in like January.

Ok, will there be a single released from it soon?

The first single is "Perfect Skin" and will come out in October.....and then we will also do a video for it.

Do you have any concepts in mind for the video?

Well. We want it to be like...It should be really sleazy, a really sleazy rock video. The song, well, the whole album is more like a party rock record, but not in your typical way. As my idea of a party is a little bit different to other people's ideas of partying. It's going to be really cool. I already mentioned, but it will be more like the record to make people party and rock on!

"Perfect Skin" is a very sexy song and it is very 80's influenced of course, as we are from the 80's originally. So I have in mind , like if you remember those ZZ Top video, with girls in high heels

Like the "Legs" video?

Yeah, like "Legs". It is a really anti-gothic song, but also pretty nasty in places.

So what have your writing influences been for "Angels"?

Well.... from 80's movies, surprise surprise! And at some point I was at a dead end, because previous records I was writing about previous relationships or relationship with some person. The relationship ended about the time we made "Devils". For some reason it always gave me some new ideas about things. So now, it was like I was sitting in my home, listening to the music Bazie had created, and I was like having a really empty moment. Like, "Fuck", where has the inspiration gone? I had nothing in my mind, I was not sad, I was not happy....Nothing!

It actually took a while, then I discovered it. Importantly, I think in many ways this is also the best record, because I discovered the original inspiration like when we started. Like same as "Devils" it has the same elements, Comics and horror movies and all those cool things. And like I said it is going to be a very cool rock and roll record. Like with "Perfect Skin", there are more aspects of sleaze rock and glam rock.

Do you have a particular, personal favourite song ?

The last song I wrote is "Only Fools don't Fall Again", I'm really happy about that one.

How has your Summer festival tour been?

This (Amphi) will be the last one, Summer has gone really fast. It's been , ever since the first festival in Finland, we have this feeling "do people still remember us?"

And today will be one of those tests again.

Well there are rather a lot of people out there showing support with t-shirts and patches on!

Oh really! Ok, Cool.

Last night we played a festival with Dimmu Borgior and Soulfly, and there was 12,000 people there at the whole festival, so I heard. So it will be interesting to see if people remember us a little bit.

It is strange, like as you can see from the schedule, we have 40 minutes playing time, and 45 minutes signing session time. Like can we play for 5 more minutes? (laughs)

Many of the UK fans have contacted me and asked if Ville's (Juurikkala) book "Route69" and your "Zombie Love" book will be available to buy in the UK?

Well, they will come out in Finland first, but in these days of the internet, you can order from wherever you want the stuff. Ville's Book will be like really cool, and I will write some really short stories to go in the book as well. But it will be in Finnish, so I hope it will be translated as well.

My comic book will be totally in English. Both will be on the Internet.

I know you have sorted out the cover, can you let Blood and Gasoline in on any story plots?

"Zombie Love" was drawn in the eighties when I was a teenager, but they still really make sense, pretty cool but pretty strange. I think it will be an additional idea of what The 69 Eyes are about, but everyone will be surprised.

There are short stories about Rockers, Goths and Punks. There is something about my sense of humour people don't get, but it has always been like that. So it is more about Art.

Any future tour plans yet?

We just have to finish the album first, and then go everywhere in the next 2 years after that.

Will you be playing Helldone?

I don't think we will be playing this time, I think it will be like different bands.
