	Let’s think about what are the main criterions for debater to participate in debate program on international level? How to make this important step? Well, I think, anyone of us can do it, if he has good debating skills on his native language. Another thing is a foreign language, especially I mean English. In spite of the fact that majority of Russian students learn English at school nowadays, they usually don’t have enough speaking practice. And it is the main difficulty, I think. For the first time it is rather difficult to understand your opponent clearly to the end and for that reason you don’t feel confidently for the first time. Such was my first experience. But if your first debate round made you interested and you don’t want give up anyway, just go on! And you will see that it is even more interesting and exciting, than debate in Russian! 	That's a good thing that we have at least one message in this part. I think if you are not native speaker - your English in Russia maybe one of the following: 1. If you are studying English at high school/Univ or have some external studies - you would have English for reading and writing, maybe for short oral presentation or conversation but NO MORE! We saw that level at demo debate in Komarovo'06....You are not able to debate effectively in that case 2. If you live at USA or GB for some time, maybe even work (there are lots of programs like 'Work&Travel' and staff like that) you would have good spoken English - but on general topics. You are not able to debate too but your chances are much better than in point one 3. Only if you have constant studies in English - you are ready for debating. If you are not so lucky - welcome to our English speaking debate league. You will get much more than at high school or University.... Цитировать
