	Inicia Campaña Llama y Vive en el Estado de México, México Línea telefónica 01 800 832 47 45 brinda asistencia a víctimas o posibles víctimas de trata de personas La campaña Llama y Vive, que busca crear conciencia sobre la trata de persona por medio de líneas de asistencia telefónica y otros mecanismos, fue lanzada en México hoy, con la participación del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), la Fundación Ricky Martin (RMF) y otros representantes de organizaciones civiles. El Consejo Estatal de la Mujer y Bienestar Social (CEMYBS), organismo de la Secretaría de Desarrollo Social del Estado de México y el Centro de Estudios e Investigación en Desarrollo y Asistencia Social, A.C. (CEIDAS) se sumaron al BID y a la RMF para lanzar la campaña en el Estado de México, México. El artista y humanista puertorriqueño Ricky Martin participó a través de un mensaje de vídeo. En un acto en el Aula Magna "Magistrado Licenciado Gustavo A. Barrera Graf" de la Escuela del Poder Judicial del Estado de México, el lanzamiento de la campaña Llama y Vive marcó el inicio de la promoción de la línea de asistencia telefónica 01 800 832 47 45 del CEMYBS, un espacio abierto las 24 horas, confidencial y gratuito que permite denunciar y asistir a víctimas o posibles víctimas de trata de personas que soliciten ayuda y protección. “El BID está consciente de la importancia en apoyar a gobiernos en América Latina y el Caribe comprometidos a proteger a las víctimas de trata, a tipificar este delito como una violación de derechos humanos y a prevenir este fenómeno que afecta los procesos de desarrollo en la región”, afirmó Ellis Juan, Representante del BID en México.”Con la colaboración entre gobiernos, organizaciones internacionales, entidades de la sociedad civil, medios de comunicación, y el sector privado se fortalece la lucha contra la esclavitud moderna”. Lanzada en 2006, Llama y Vive es producto de una alianza regional entre el BID, la Fundación Ricky Martin y la Organización Internacional para las Migraciones (OIM). Llama y Vive ha sido implementada en Costa Rica, Nicaragua y Perú. De acuerdo con el “Diagnóstico de las Condiciones de Vulnerabilidad que propician la Trata de Personas en México” publicado en septiembre de 2009 por CEIDAS y Comisión Nacional de Los Derechos Humanos (México), la mayoría de las víctimas provienen de entornos de pobreza, marginación, desigualdad o exclusión social. Las víctimas típicamente han sufrido de algún tipo de violencia, y tienen bajos niveles de escolaridad y analfabetismo. Su condición laboral suele ser riesgosa y precaria.
