Hello, My VirtualBox was upgraded from v4.0.4 to 4.0.6 just today and since then my host, Windows 7 Ultimate x64, could not connect to my wired network. I thought it was due to my router so I connected my computer directly to the the modem. It still would not detect any network. I've discovered that the ethernet driver would not install no matter what driver I choose. I've uninstalled my ethernet driver, restarted the computer so it will scan for hardware changes and hoping that the proper driver would reinstall but to no avail. I finally thought about doing a system restore to go back to v4.0.4 and my network came back to life! It must be something with the latest version that conflicts with the ethernet driver of my host. Just to countercheck, I upgraded once more to 4.0.6 and the problem reappeared. Now I'm back to v4.0.4 just to be able to connect to my network. Has anybody else experienced this problem? Is there something that I'm missing here? Please help. I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
